I was at LinkedIn HQ a few days ago.

Here are the goodies that I brought back just for you!

Post images and videos on LinkedIn to get 10x the reach and engagement of Facebook, which is now crowded.

LinkedIn ads are fantastic for lead gen, even if you’re not in B2B or recruiting.

Unlike Facebook, you can target by job title and company name, even calling these out in the ad itself via dynamic ads. Because there’s so little competition on LinkedIn, you’ll find some posts will get crazy engagement, sometimes even thousands of likes.

Always comment on posts to double the reach they would have gotten.

When you do, it generates notifications for your community in a non-spammy way.

So then your post will live for 4-5 days instead of just 1-2 days.

On Facebook, your post will typically live for 4-5 hours.

Don’t mass tag other people or use more than a couple of hashtags, since that makes you look self-promotional.

LinkedIn has a web pixel, email custom audiences, and basic analytics.

Put your retargeting pixels from Facebook, Google, and LinkedIn inside your Google Tag Manager container, so you have omnipresence across all channels!

The cafeteria at LinkedIn is almost as good as FB HQ, which has a legit BBQ and an ice cream shop.

What do you think?
