Many people think “AI” means mind‑bending math and superhuman coders. Jeff Pebley, a new AI apprentice in Las Vegas, is proof that the real magic lies in doing the little things—every day. When Jeff joined our Local Service Spotlight program he worried he lacked the technical chops. He quickly learned that building an AI‑driven career is just a series of simple, repeatable tasks, not some mythical leap.
Doing the little things
- Logged into WordPress and learned to post articles.
- Created a LinkedIn profile under Local Service Spotlight, filling out his work history and adding a professional photo.
- Recorded one‑minute “what I learned today” videos and posted them on Facebook to document his progress.
- Set up his own WordPress site using our 4‑Stage Content Factory process and AI tools like ChatGPT.
- Learned how to use Zoom and other collaboration tools.
- Made sure he had the fundamentals—a working laptop and a phone—because you can’t play the game without a ball.
Practising what we preach: JeffPebley.com
“Build a personal brand” is meaningless advice unless you actually do it. That’s why we didn’t just tell Jeff to secure his domain—we bought it ourselves. JeffPebley.com is officially his, proof that we practise what we preach. Here’s a glimpse of the confirmation page from GoDaddy showing the registration in prog

Buying your own name isn’t vanity—it’s the digital equivalent of owning your name on a jersey. It signals that you’re serious about your craft and ready to build something bigger than a resume.
Building a personal brand site
With his domain in hand, Jeff followed our training to stand up a clean, useful WordPress site. He used ChatGPT to draft copy, selected a simple theme, and published his first posts. His site will evolve over time, but even the first version gives him a hub where employers, collaborators and clients can learn who he is and what he’s learning.
Real tools, real results
Why schools are falling behind
Jeff’s experience also exposes a sad truth: most schools don’t teach the digital skills that matter today. They’re still focused on dated curricula while the real world runs on Zoom, LinkedIn and WordPress. Many of our apprentices come in without laptops or reliable internet. We believe basic equipment—just like books and pencils—should be standard in 2025. Until that changes, our program fills the gap.
A call to the next wave of AI apprentices
Jeff’s story isn’t an outlier. It’s a roadmap. If you can log into a website, record a video and stay curious, you can build a career in AI and digital marketing. You don’t need to be a code wizard; you need discipline and willingness to learn. Grab your laptop, get your domain, start publishing, and come join us on the court. We’ll even throw in a basketball—just ask Jeff.
Fun, food and hard work
We don’t just work hard on personal brand sites; we make sure to have fun and eat well, too. These snapshots capture Jeff and me enjoying dinner together and a glimpse of our weekly Zoom training session where we discuss strategies for honouring people using real pictures and stories. It’s this mix of hard work and real-life connection that makes our program unique.
