Most of Our VAs Start at Level 1, But They Don’t Stop There!

In our system, we believe in earning every level you move up, rather than trying to negotiate for a position in which you haven’t demonstrated competence yet. This concept is rooted in our “Learn, Do, Teach” (#LDT) model, represented in the 9 Triangles.

Many prospective virtual assistants (VAs) insist they should start at a higher level, despite not having proven their skills. Each time, we explain why this is not possible. We can’t hand out prizes before the work has been done—like awarding a gold medal before someone begins training, just because they say they’re capable of earning it. The prize doesn’t come first; the effort does.

The beauty of our leveling system is that it’s clear and fair. Anyone can level up, as long as they are willing to learn and show they can complete the work. This means everyone has an equal opportunity to grow, provided they are ready to put in the effort.

A great example of this is our Operations Specialist VA Muzamil, who started at just $3 an hour. She worked hard, demonstrated her abilities, and consistently leveled up. Today, she’s making $750 a week—over $3,000 a month. She began with almost nothing and earned every step of her progress by proving her worth and growing with the system.

Despite the fairness of this structure, we still encounter people who claim they can run our entire company without demonstrating their ability to manage a team or showcase world-class digital marketing skills. Earning the respect of the people you manage takes time, effort, and experience—none of which you can bypass.

Our leveling system ensures that those who rise to the top do so because they’ve earned it, not because of promises or negotiations. If you’re willing to start at level one and work your way up, just like Muzamil, the sky’s the limit.
