01 / Main exercise

Two teams. One shared clock.

For our fictional Harbor Juniors case, 13 Blue and 13 White each have 12 players and their own court. Both follow a 90-minute plan; coaches adapt the difficulty for their athletes.

Check the whole plan: water, transitions and reflection fit inside the 90 minutes. Each team stays on its assigned court. The head coach checks flow, spacing, workload and athlete suitability.

This sample was created for the workshop from fictional supplied notes. It is not an official JVA training program or a coach-approved plan, and it was not extracted from the source videos.

Choose useful source material

Start with the club’s drill library.

These JVA video descriptions make them useful references for the exercise. Open a source, review it yourself, and supply the drill notes your coaches can stand behind.

Try it during the session

Give the AI the whole coaching brief.

Check the source

Separate supplied notes from material actually accessed.

✓

Check the handoff

Keep approval questions outside the draft coach message.

02 / Second demonstration

A court closes.
What actually changes?

Use the separate five-team example to check whether a proposed schedule respects courts, coaches, team conflicts and locked sessions. Then draft notices for the affected teams.

Four checks before a change

  • Every required session is present.
  • Courts and coaches are available.
  • Locked sessions stay locked.
  • Affected teams receive the correct draft notice.

A plausible-looking timetable still needs checking.

Our 45 minutes together

Review selected links, supplied notes, teams, time and roles.

  3. 15 min

Draft, check and improve the plan

Check 90 minutes, coach decisions, source claims and the draft message.

  4. 10 min

  5. 5 min

Save your work and choose the next use

Keep a dated version, reopen it and name who reviews the real version.

After the workshop

Make the next practice easier to prepare.

01

Keep one source pack

Save the selected links, approved coaching notes and club constraints in a document your team controls.

02

Review before sharing

The head coach approves the plan. A person checks the recipient list and sends the final coach message.

03

Bring back one improvement

Record one cue to keep and one change after practice. Use those observations to improve the next version.
