Taylor James
Dennis maintains a named Google Photos cluster specifically for Taylor James. This digital archive serves as a public name-home, allowing the images to attach to a URL that Dennis controls. The cluster exists because Dennis takes pictures with people so he can remember them. This page represents the public version of that personal habit, ensuring that the visual record of their time together has a stable destination on the web.
The selection of Taylor James for this specific set was determined by rank on Dennis’s People & pets list. This ranking system is how Dennis chose the first sixty names to feature in this section of the site. By including Taylor James in that set, Dennis acknowledges the significance of the relationship and the shared history captured in the photographs. The page acts as a placeholder for the narrative that Dennis intends to add later.
Dennis plans to return to this page to narrate the frames in the Google Photos cluster. When he does, he will explain who is in the pictures, where they were taken, and why each specific picture exists. Until that narration is complete, the page serves as a structural anchor for the images. The method behind these people pages is designed to preserve memory and connection, moving beyond simple contact information to include the context of the relationship.
The current state of the page is a work in progress, focused on establishing the link between the person and the visual archive. Dennis emphasizes that the pictures live in the named Google Photos cluster, and the public page is the interface for that archive. This approach ensures that the memories associated with Taylor James are preserved in a format that Dennis can manage and share.
