Roanin Podkin

I spent a weekend with Roanin Podkin. Friday was his first podcast, in Broomfield. Saturday was Mt Bierstadt with Jason Amato and a room of home-service operators, including Ian and Mandy Furse. Saturday evening was Denver airport, phone on the table, until his 7:20 flight.

Episode one

He sat me down in Broomfield on 28 August and called it episode one. The working title on the tape is Days with Roanin. We were in that room because Jason put the conference together. A couple of days later he had eaten the food.

I asked what he would do if money did not matter. He said hang out with interesting people and go down the list — Kilimanjaro, a 14er. We were already climbing Mt Bierstadt the next morning. Avoca brought him to meet specific people. He also wanted to be there.

He does not post much on LinkedIn. Person to person, he thinks the mission is obvious.

Same day, DEN. He hiked Mt Bierstadt with Jason Amato and the operators from that lab, then we talked until the 7:20. On that tape, from that workshop: seven demos booked, four verbal, one still working. I dated a prediction on 29 August 2026.
