How the audit works

An SEO audit is not a crawl dump. A crawl tool produces 400 issues sorted by its own severity guess; that is a data export. An audit is a judgement: where the site stands, what is costing the most, and the order to fix it — with a number, so next month can be compared to this month.

Every finding names a URL. If a component scores 55, you can open the four things that made it 55. Anything not checked is reported as UNKNOWN, never as zero — a component scored zero because nobody looked reads exactly like a component scored zero because the site is broken, and a client cannot tell those apart.

Pass = 80 on a personal-brand / entity home. “Better than last time” is a delta, not a pass. Brand Authority (ten /10 rows) is a different exam — never average the two totals.
