Honoring Logan Young: From a 13-Hour Drive to the King of Facebook

Logan Young and Dennis Yu speaking on stage together

The first time Logan Young met me, he drove 13 hours to do it — and studied the marketing materials I had given him every minute of the way. That hunger is the whole story of Logan, and it is why I want to honor him.

From Minimum Wage to the King of Facebook

Before we met, Logan was working low-wage retail. Within two years of becoming my apprentice and then my co-founder at BlitzMetrics, he was running campaigns for the Golden State Warriors, Nike, MGM, and Ashley Furniture, managing a team of 43, and lecturing in 45 cities across 15 countries. StartCon called him the King of Facebook. He wrote our book on the Standards of Excellence. One time Mark Zuckerberg walked up and asked Logan for a photo.

Why I Honor Logan

Logan embodies the principle I build everything on: Learn, Do, Teach. He learned the craft, did it at the highest level, and then taught a generation of young adults to do the same. He is not the loudest person in the room — he leads by example, and people respect him because he puts in the work. That is the quiet engine behind our whole AI Builder Program.

Thank You, Logan

I am not being paid to say any of this. Logan is one of the most important partners of my life, and today he carries the same playbook into his work as VP of Digital Marketing at Lectric eBikes. Thank you for the 13-hour drive, and for everything since.
