Operator · Peer · Showed up in Vegas
Harry Gold
He flew to Las Vegas just to hang — then went inverted over Red Rocks at Sky Combat Ace. That is peer energy worth a page.
Some people talk about showing up. Harry Gold got on a plane to Las Vegas so he could actually do it. He did not fly in for a stage. He flew in for a hang — Red Rocks out the canopy, Sky Combat Ace on the tarmac, and a few hours with a peer who buys, sells, and builds. That is rare. That is honor-worthy.
The bravery that is not for show
Courage in business is usually invisible: making the hard call, keeping the team together, telling the truth when the spreadsheet is ugly. Harry’s kind of bravery is the same trait in daylight. He strapped into an Extra, inverted over the desert, and came back laughing — “not so bad… cool” — after the world flipped.
That clip is short. The meaning is not. He came to Vegas to see Dennis. The flight was the punctuation mark.
Peers who work and hang out
The best operators do not only meet in boardrooms. They share the hangar, the runway, and the dumb jokes after the aileron roll. Harry and Dennis are that kind of pair: deals and friendship in the same trip — not ops theater, not networking theater. Real peer energy.
Top-tier entrepreneurs do not only share Slack threads. They share the tarmac. In Las Vegas, they walked into the Sky Combat Ace hangar the same way they walk into a deal: as peers.
Why this page exists
Dennis Yu’s people pages exist so the humans he builds with get a real home on the open web — not a tagged mention that disappears in a feed. Harry Gold showed up. This page is how we show up for him.
Note: This is Harry Gold of Lightspeed GTM / Gold’s Gym — the peer who flew to Vegas for Sky Combat Ace in October 2026. A different Harry Gold (Overdrive Interactive) has his own card at /people/harry-gold/.
