Dennis spent a weekend in Colorado in late August 2026 that began with a simple invitation. Jason asked Dennis to join him on a 14er hike on Mt Bierstadt. The plan was straightforward: wake up at 5 a.m., eat triple cheeseburgers, and hit the trail. It was a morning spent with Jason, Dennis, Roanin Podkin, and a small room of home-service operators, including Ian and Mandy Furse. The group was less than a dozen people, a tight circle of operators who shared the same summit views and the same drive.

The hike was more than just exercise; it was a working session on the mountain. Jason’s philosophy is that trust beats the cheaper install. In that room, the conversation turned to how operators build credibility with homeowners. The result was tangible: seven companies in that small group booked a demo that week. Jason’s approach to building crews for home-service companies centers on this reliability, ensuring that the people showing up at a customer’s door are as trustworthy as the service they provide.

While Dennis was on the trail, Giuseppe, Jason’s videographer, kept the camera rolling. The footage captured the ridge, the chairs, and the candid moments that happen when the camera is already on. Later that evening, after the hike, Dennis sat at Denver International Airport with Roanin Podkin until his 7:20 flight. The phone was on the table, and the conversation continued from the mountain to the terminal. Jason’s presence in that weekend’s narrative was constant, from the early morning start to the final airport interview.

Jason’s work with Power Crew reflects a commitment to the operational backbone of the home-service industry. He builds the teams that make the service happen, focusing on the human element of trust. For Dennis, building with Jason means engaging with someone who values the craft of service delivery and the relationships that sustain it. The weekend in Colorado, with its mix of high-altitude hiking and deep business strategy, highlighted the specific way Jason operates: grounded, practical, and focused on the people who do the work.
