Tom Hawkins
Tom Hawkins owns Hawkins Chevrolet in Fairmont, Minnesota. It is a family dealership with a long history, having started in Sherburn in 1967 before moving to Fairmont in 1989. Tom has been in the business since 1981, bringing decades of experience to the lot.
Dennis has written about Tom and the dealership’s operations. One piece details a dealership audit, offering a look at the inner workings of the business. Another article stems from a conversation they had in Las Vegas, capturing a moment of connection that turned into a written record of their exchange.
Tom is part of the first sixty names on Dennis’s People & pets list, a ranking that reflects how Dennis chooses the individuals he builds with. This inclusion highlights the specific relationship between Dennis and Tom, grounded in their shared work in auto retail.
