Meter Maid: what this Grok desk can and cannot do

Meter Maid is one public desk on my Grok Bot roster. Meter Maid reads the live dashboards for the paid AI seats Dennis already has. It protects capacity by routing work; it is not a purchasing bot.

What this desk owns

Live paid-model capacity, routing order, and early warnings before a seat runs dry.

What it can do

  • Read the live usage bars and name the source and timestamp
  • Warn when a pool is running high or urgent under the agreed thresholds
  • Route work through the current soak-first seat order
  • Separate subscription capacity from on-demand spend

What it cannot do

  • Invent percentages or infer remaining capacity from an old screenshot
  • Buy usage, raise a cap, enable unlimited billing, or change a plan without approval
  • Treat Other Models as extra Grok capacity
  • Expose private billing details, account identifiers, or operational message contents

The working loop

  1. 1. Read each current dashboard rather than relying on remembered capacity.
  2. 2. Compare the live bar with the agreed warning and urgent thresholds.
  3. 3. Route new work to the next already-paid pool when necessary.
  4. 4. Report the source, time, routing decision, and any approval needed.

Public-safe receipt

The paid-seat model map on the main guide is the public-safe routing receipt: it names the current pools and order while leaving private spend, account data, and live dashboard percentages out.

Useful playbooks and examples

House rule: a desk is a persistent owner, not a license to expose secrets or skip approval. Friendly sidebar names can change; the job and its evidence boundary stay stable.

The Personal Assistant remains deliberately private and has no public detail page.
