Whop Partners · second tier
Get paid on every business you send to Whop, month after month.
Whop Partners launched August 19, 2026 and has paid partners more than $10 million. The estimator uses Whop’s published rates and our margin assumption; change any number.
What a partner earns, on assumptions you can change
Whop publishes “up to 30% of gross profit” and “1% of Whop Ads spend”; it does not publish its margin. 0.6% of volume is our estimate for plain card processing (Whop keeps 2.7% but pays interchange and network fees out of it); accounts that use financing, memberships, ads or Content Rewards carry more margin. Change the number and the answer moves with it.
Applying under us changes nothing about what Whop pays you. Whop adds a flat 10% second-tier share for us on top, paid by Whop. Only sending businesses, not partners? The through-us page is the one to share. Want the whole picture first? The 38-page guide to being a Whop affiliate (PDF).
The program, verified
What Whop Partners pays, in Whop’s own words
Up to 30% of gross profit
“Earn 30% of Whop’s profit from any business you refer,” per the refer-a-business form in the partner dashboard, recurring for as long as the business is on Whop.

1% of Whop Ads spend
When a business you referred runs ads through Whop Ads, you earn 1% of what it spends.

A second tier: 10%
When someone you referred later becomes a partner and refers businesses, you earn a flat 10% of Whop’s gross profit on those businesses. Whop support confirmed the rate in writing on Sept 4, 2026; the launch post only said “a share.”

Two ways to refer
A link (whop.com/start/?a=yourname) or a manual referral from the dashboard: business website, name, revenue estimate and the owner’s email. Whop support confirmed the manual path locks attribution to you the moment you submit it, before the owner claims the invite.

$10 million paid so far
Whop says partners had earned more than $10 million at launch. The dashboard leaderboard on Sept 4, 2026 showed the top ten partners at $27,000 to $65,000 for the trailing 30 days.

What a real record looks like
Whop support pulled Dennis’s own referral record on Sept 4, 2026: status active, 30% on sales, 30% on transfers, 30% on card interchange, 1% on ad spend, expiring 50 years out. The public Earnings Terms still carry an older 6-month clause; support called it a page that has not caught up and we have asked for the governing document in writing.

The mechanism
How the two tiers fit together
Whop pays a partner a share of its gross profit on every business the partner refers, for as long as the business stays. It also pays a smaller share on businesses referred by partners the first partner enrolled. I enrolled on September 4, 2026; if you enroll through my link, your referrals pay you the full partner share and Whop pays me the second-tier share on top.
The money is not in one plumber. On plain card processing a $1 million-a-year business is worth roughly $1,800 a year to its partner at a 0.6% margin assumption. The money is in systems: an agency with forty clients on HighLevel where Whop installs per sub-account, a franchise, an association, a coaching program whose students all sell something, a platform with merchants on it. One relationship, many businesses, every one of them a partner-payable unit.
That is why the second tier matters more to me than the first. If you own a system, I would rather you be the partner of record on your own merchants and enroll under me than send me names one at a time. You keep the 30%; I get a slice Whop adds; both of us get the leaderboard numbers that come from volume, not from a single referral.
Why enroll under us
What you get that a partner on their own does not
The story library
Fifty-two Whop customer stories retold by industry, fourteen industry pages, and a hub you can link your prospects to instead of writing your own case for Whop. All on dennisyu.com, all yours to use.
The referral checklist and scripts
The exact sequence we use: what to collect from a business owner, when to use the link and when to use the manual referral form, how to install Whop inside a HighLevel sub-account, what to screenshot, what to say.
Your own page in the library
Your business gets a story page when your first referrals process, written the same way as the Whop case studies, linking to you. Prospects search you; they should find proof.
The systems approach
We go after platforms and organizations that already hold many merchants, not one merchant at a time. We will tell you which rooms we are in, which ones we are not, and which ones you should take.
Measurement that proves it
The Whop pixel, GA4 and Tag Manager on your pages, with the partner-link click and lead events firing, so you know which page and which audience produced each referral before Whop’s dashboard tells you.
A partner who answers
Dennis and the Local Service Spotlight team answer partners inside 24 hours. That is a published rule on this site, not a promise made for this page.
How to apply
Three steps
- Create your Whop account through the link, whop.com/start/?a=thedennisyu, or tell us your business name and email and we submit the referral from our dashboard.
- Open Partners in your Whop dashboard and apply. Whop approves partners itself; we cannot approve you and we do not see your application.
- Email dennis@dennisyu.com with the subject “I applied to Whop Partners through Dennis”, your Whop username, and who you can refer. We send the referral checklist, the story library and the scripts the same day.
Honest limits
Who should not bother
If you cannot name five businesses you could refer this quarter, apply later; the program pays on volume through the accounts you bring, and a dormant partner earns nothing. If your audience is gambling, betting, trading signals, credit offers or adult, Whop excludes those categories from financing and some from the platform. If you want a bounty per signup, this is not that; it pays a share of profit on accounts that process.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
Does enrolling under you reduce what I earn? No. You are the partner of record on every business you refer and Whop pays you the full partner share. The second tier is a separate, flat 10% of Whop’s gross profit that Whop pays to the partner who originally referred you, confirmed in writing by Whop support on Sept 4, 2026.
How do I make sure my enrollment is attributed to you? Whop support says the second tier applies to anyone who was referred by us at any point and later enrolls as a partner on their own; you do not have to apply through a special link. So: create your Whop account through the link on this page, or email us first and we submit a manual referral, which locks attribution the moment it is submitted. Then apply to Partners from your own dashboard.
Is it first click or last click? Whop support confirmed on Sept 4, 2026 that the click model, the window and the conflict rules for partner links are not documented anywhere, and recommended getting written confirmation before scaling. Our rule until then: any business you have already spoken to goes in through the manual referral form, which locks attribution the moment you submit it.
How and when does Whop pay? Earnings appear in the partner dashboard against each referred business’s payments; Whop’s consumer affiliate program pays after a 30-day waiting period and claws back on refunds and disputes, and we assume Partners works the same way until Whop says otherwise.
Can I run ads on Whop's name to get referrals? No. Whop’s Earnings Terms prohibit paid ads on keywords like “Whop,” “Whop discount” or misspellings without written approval. Content, your list, your clients and your rooms are the channels.
What about the 6-month clause in Whop's terms? Whop’s public Earnings Terms still say seller referrals earn for the first six months. Whop support checked Dennis’s live referral record on Sept 4, 2026: active, 30% on sales, transfers and card interchange, 1% on ad spend, expiring 50 years out, and called the terms page one that has not caught up with Partners. We have asked for the governing document in writing and will link it here.
Disclosure: Dennis Yu, founder of Dennis Yu, is a Whop Partner. Whop pays him a share of its profit on businesses that sign up through his link and a smaller second-tier share on businesses referred by partners who enroll under him.
