Dennis Yu

A note from Dennis

If you’re going to join Whop, come in with me.

I’m Dennis Yu. I don’t send a business I care about to a platform I wouldn’t sit next to the person who runs the services side.

Aden Trano — Whop’s Head of Services — and I spent early September together at the Sphere Rocket Open in Frisco. Golf, dinner, and a working conversation about how home-service owners actually get paid. My team built his site, adentrano.com. That is the kind of relationship I want you to see before you click.

Join through my link and you get the same Whop price, plus the worksheets and the written-review pilot my team runs for U.S. home-service businesses and the agencies serving them.

Affiliate disclosure: I may earn a commission from eligible activity through my referral. The resources and review pilot described here are free. Whop’s own fees and terms apply.

People, not a logo wall

The folks I actually spend time with.

Money and systems decisions get easier when you can see the room. These are real days: on the course with Aden and Simon, Jack running agents from lunch, Cam and Dylan on stage with me teaching club directors.

Why I’m doing this

Good relationships lead to useful work.

I would rather you see us working than read another comparison chart. Take a real relationship, useful expertise and proof of your work, then turn them into something that helps the next customer. That is the move I made with Aden. It is the move I want to help you make.

If a money or systems decision is on the table, look at the pictures first. Then use the kit. Then, if it still fits, join through my link so I can actually help.

Choose your starting point

What this looks like for your business

If you run an agency

Start with the client you’d most like to replicate. Use one substantiated client story to explain your specialty, connect it to your agency’s offer, and identify a relevant relationship in that niche.

Your useful next step: a focused story and a path to a conversation with another owner you can serve.

If you run a home service business

Start with a job you’re proud of. Use your real photos and customer question to explain the work, connect the story to the right local service page, and make requesting an estimate straightforward.

Your useful next step: a clear path from “I need that” to an inquiry about your service.

If you’re still choosing your niche, start with the worksheet below. It will help you decide who you want to serve and what evidence you can build around.

Apply it to your own business

Bring one example. I’ll send a focused next action.

We’re running a free written-review pilot for established U.S. home and property-service businesses, and agencies serving them, that join Whop through my link.

If that sounds like you: bring a clear niche, one public example you’re happy to share, one growth question, and someone ready to carry out the next step. Send your details below; we’ll confirm fit and an available place in the pilot by email.

Once your case is accepted, my team will review your example and send one written action card with:

  • One priority: the most useful improvement we identify in the material you share.
  • The reason: the evidence behind that recommendation.
  • The task: a concrete change your team can make to your offer, story, service page or relationship approach.
  • The check: what to record now and what to look for after making the change.

Reviews combine AI assistance with source checks. You also get one follow-up clarification to help you put the recommendation to work.

Send us your starting point

Email dennis@localservicespotlight.com with the subject Whop benefits review request. The button opens a ready-to-fill outline for your business, website, niche, Whop business URL, goal, public example, question and implementation owner.

Use public business information and examples you have permission to share. Your Whop business URL helps us check that your signup came through my referral.

Ready when you are

Your free AI growth starter kit

Copy these exercises into a document or the AI tool you already use. Work on one business goal at a time.

1. Write your GCT: Goals, Content and Targeting

Complete this sentence: “By [date], we want [measurable business outcome], using [real content or proof] to reach [specific audience].”

  • My business, website and niche: ______
  • The offer I want to grow: ______
  • My goal and deadline: ______
  • A real example that supports my offer: ______
  • The people I want to reach: ______

For example, an agency could choose a goal of three qualified conversations with roofing-company owners in 30 days, using one documented roofing-client story. Choose your own target and measure what happens.

2. Check one branch of your Money Tree

Pick one useful answer or client story on your site. Follow it to the relevant service page, then to the next step you’d like a visitor to take.

  • Story or useful-answer URL: ______
  • Relevant service or offer-page URL: ______
  • Does the story link to that page? ______
  • Can the visitor easily ask a question, book or request an estimate? ______
  • The one improvement I’ll make: ______

The Money Tree explanation shows how your site’s actual links connect your content to your offers.

3. Explore your Second Ring

Privately list one person you know, the type of customer you want to reach, and a real example that could help that customer. Ask your contact whether an introduction would be useful and welcome.

  • The audience I can help: ______
  • A relationship I can confirm: ______
  • The useful story or resource I’d share: ______
  • The next conversation to have: ______

Explore my Second Ring example. Keep contact details in your private worksheet; use public business examples when posting in a group.

4. Copy this AI prompt

Help me choose one practical action to attract more customers like my best current customer. My niche is [niche], my offer is [offer], my numeric goal and deadline are [goal/date], my client evidence is [source], and my offer page is [URL].

Use the facts and sources I provide. Check whether my goal, content and audience align. Check whether the supplied story links to the relevant offer page, marking anything you cannot verify as unknown. Suggest a useful relationship route using connections I have explicitly confirmed.

Return one action card: evidence, task, owner, date, baseline and outcome to check. Label assumptions and draft content. Ask me before contacting someone, publishing or changing an account.

Check the output against your original sources, choose one action and assign an owner. Record the starting point, make the change and check progress after seven days.
