Workshop prep
Do the homework. The room is for cooking.
Install Claude. Load the ten. Bring one live asset. We do not lecture the plumbing on stage.
Scan this page.
Then paste into Claude.
Still: speaking reel. Loop is muted.
Do this before you sit down. The room is for cooking, not installing.
Every workshop we run, a chunk of the room shows up on a phone, on a free Claude account, or with nothing to work on. Then the first hour is tech support. This page is the homework. Finish it and you walk in ready.

Required before you walk in
This is the same pre-flight we send for Hypergrowth Summit 2026 in Singapore (15 October, Suntec City Expo Hall, Summit 2). Same homework for DealCon, Wichita, DigiMarCon, NAMM, Optimize Live, JVA, Affiliate World, and every replica room.
- Paid Claude plan — not optional. Free cannot install plugins or run scheduled jobs. Pro is the minimum. Max is what we recommend for long agent runs. Team or Enterprise: an owner must turn on Code execution, file creation, and Skills in Organization settings, or the buttons are missing.
- A computer, not just a phone. First install is on the web or desktop app. After that, your phone works. Bring the laptop (and a charger) to the room.
- Code execution & file creation ON. Claude → Settings → Capabilities. Without this, Claude talks and does not build files.
- Install the marketplace pack. On a computer: Customize → Plugins → Personal plugins → + → Add marketplace → Add from a repository. Paste https://github.com/dennisyu/local-service-spotlight-skills and install lss-everything (28 skills — not 10). Click-by-click: localservicespotlight.com/install.
- Prove it in a fresh chat. Toggle the plugin on. Start a new chat. Ask for a real job (“harvest my positive mentions”). Save a receipt: time, plan, screenshot. An agent saying “looks great” is not a receipt.
- Wispr Flow (dictation). Download at wispr.ai. We speak prompts instead of typing — DealCon, Sigrun, and Hypergrowth all run that way. Free works; Pro is nicer. It types into whatever app has the cursor. It is not “inside” Claude.
- Connectors you actually use. Drive, Gmail, Calendar, YouTube, WordPress — only what you need. Agents cannot fetch files you have not connected.
- Bring one bottleneck and one proof asset. Hypergrowth’s “BRING THIS” card: a repeating job that hurts, plus a real review, recording, article, or photo. We turn those into a system. Thin inputs, thin agent.
Which Claude plan
| Plan | What it actually does in the room |
|---|---|
| Free | You can paste a chat prompt. You cannot install plugins or scheduled jobs. You will spend the session on the sideline. |
| Pro | Minimum. Marketplace install, skills, and Cowork all work. Long loops may hit limits mid-run. |
| Max | What we recommend. These agents run until the work is done. |
| Team / Enterprise | Works after an owner enables Code execution, file creation, and Skills. If buttons are grey, send them the install page. |
If you want the factory to run without you
Cowork → Scheduled
After the plugin is in, open Cowork → Scheduled → New task. A job on a clock is staff. A skill sitting in a list is a cookbook.
Memory on
Settings → Memory preferences: turn the toggles on so Claude keeps what it learns about you across sessions. From the Sigrun playbook we run with groups.
Skill pack extras
Same GitHub address also lists smaller bundles. Most people should take lss-everything — all 28 skills. The 10-skill scan-paste on the event page is the room starter. Master list: dennisyu.com/workbook. Do not install everything and the topical bundles on top of each other.
Hypergrowth, NAMM, and every replica room
Hypergrowth Summit 2026
15 October, Suntec Convention Centre, Singapore. Official site: hypergrowthsummit.asia. The deck’s first card is “BRING THIS” — one bottleneck, one proof asset. The install source of truth is still the Local Service Spotlight install page.
Why organizers should send this
Zach Phillips at NAMM’s bar for speakers is rehearsal and knowing the room. Same rule for attendees: if the laptop and the paid plan are not done, the live-install format we ran at Wichita and DealCon falls over. Put this URL in the confirmation email.
Tell us which step you reached.
Reply with the step number and what you saw instead of the expected screen. That is enough. Do not wait until you are in the seat.
