About Oliver

Competitive. Determined. Relentless.

Oliver Gilliam is a highly skilled 6’8″ guard with elite vision, passing, and polished footwork — a European-style game that’s fluid, intelligent, and complete. A natural scorer who does it all: scores at all three levels, rebounds, defends, and facilitates. His 6’8″ positionless frame (1–4 versatility) creates mismatches every time he steps on the floor, and with growth plates still open he’s projected to reach 6’10″–7’0″.

He plays varsity at Salem High School and club ball with Dream 34 Hoops, carries a 3.5 GPA, and leads with character first.

“What sets Oliver apart is his character. He is respectful, thoughtful, and mature… he brings the same determination to his sport as he does his studies.”— Ryan Mason, High School Geometry Teacher

“I’d rather be exhausted and empty from effort than comfortable and haunted by what I didn’t chase… The pain of discipline is temporary, and the pain of regret lasts forever. I’m chasing the version of myself that only exists if I give everything.”— Oliver Gilliam
