THE AUTHORITY ENGINE — A LIVING EXAMPLE

Avery Young

The person behind HighLevel’s creator partnerships — and proof that when you clarify your authority, tools like HighLevel and Claude multiply it.

Why I’m Honoring Avery

On June 24, 2026, Avery Young — Affiliate Conversion Manager on HighLevel’s Affiliates & Acquisitions team — sent me a cold email. It was clear, human, and specific. Eight days later we were on a Zoom call architecting a program to help entrepreneurs gather everything they’re good at and turn it into growth. That speed — identify, articulate value, follow through — is the exact skill every entrepreneur needs and most never develop. And when we proposed making him the living example of the program, he volunteered on the spot.

We live by example and teach openly. So instead of just telling Avery what an authority hub looks like, we built him one. You’re reading it.

What Makes Avery Powerful

The hunter’s instinct.
He proactively finds creators worth partnering with — he found me. Most affiliate managers wait for applications; Avery goes and gets them.
Both sides of the platform.
A HighLevel user since 2019, he joined the team in 2026 — seven years as a practitioner before going inside. He sits in one of the largest affiliate programs in SaaS (40% recurring, thousands of affiliates) and speaks fluent user AND fluent affiliate. That dual fluency is rare.
Conversion plumbing that works.
Live booking page, fast email turnaround, calls that end with decisions. The bottom of his funnel is already built.
Speed.
Cold email to co-created program strategy in eight days. Velocity of execution is the best predictor of authority growth we’ve measured.

The Opportunities We Found (This Is the Fun Part)

We ran Avery through the same Quick Audit we’ve run for Sigrun, Dunk Camp’s 76 athletes, DealCon speakers, and hundreds of entrepreneurs. Like almost everyone we audit, his real authority far exceeds his visible authority — which means everything below is upside waiting to be captured:

  • Own the search result. There are 100+ “Avery Young” profiles on LinkedIn. His hyphenated surname, Young-Nulf, is nearly unique on the entire web — a brand asset most people would pay for.
  • Turn daily calls into content. Avery runs partner conversations every week. Each one is a latent authority asset — one recap per week is 50+ pieces a year.
  • Collect the receipts. He helps affiliates win constantly; those testimonials currently live in private inboxes. Ten public ones would out-credential most of the industry.
  • Become the living example. Avery starts where most entrepreneurs start (≈18/100 on the Personal Brand Score — Dunk Camp’s room averaged 15) — and he volunteered to go first. Documenting his own before/after becomes the launch content for the program itself.
  • Tell the 2019 story. “I used HighLevel for seven years, then joined the company” is an authority narrative most affiliate managers would trade their commission for — and it’s sitting untold.

The Five-Stage Authority Engine

  1. Inventory — gather everything you’re good at: wins, skills, testimonials, content, connections. (Sigrun’s inventory surfaced 1,200+ forgotten assets.)
  2. Audit — score it: Metrics → Analysis → Action. Every gap framed as an opportunity with a next step.
  3. Publish — deploy your authority hub on HighLevel: site, funnel, calendar, CRM, automations. This page is what stage 3 looks like.
  4. Amplify — Dollar-a-Day promotion, guest circuit, schema and AI visibility.
  5. Multiply — your documented growth recruits the next cohort. Authority compounds into a flywheel.

Entrepreneurs don’t come to HighLevel for software — they come to stop wrestling ten tools so they can focus on the business. The Authority Engine is that promise, made systematic: your authority, clarified, then multiplied.
