Liana Ling went live on Facebook with a gimbal, not a studio, and announced a half-day workshop to launch Dollar a Day campaigns. She had just been on a call with me. The point she took from both of us: keep it simple. She had already booked a separate live Q&A with me for everyone in that room.
Takeaway: the relationship is the booking. She did not wait for a perfect studio. She recorded the invite, named the platforms, and locked my calendar for her students.

She took keep it simple off our call
Verbatim from the tape: Whenever I hear Dennis speak… he makes it sound so simple because it is. We overcomplicate things so much. She was in a week of e-commerce homework with her daughter, following Trey Luellen’s five-day challenge. She cut her teeth on B2B services. She said stay focused on the outcome and keep it simple.
That is the handoff I want on this site. Not a clone of her method article. The moment she translated a call with me into a Facebook live her people could actually watch.
The workshop she put on
Not a beginner-only class. She said Dollar a Day is a testing technique: a dollar per video per day, engagement first, then roll winners into conversion. It does not cost “just a dollar.” It is a dollar per video per day. That is the sentence operators miss when they treat the method as a coupon.
Platforms she named: Twitter first, then Facebook and Google. LinkedIn and Pinterest optional. Steven Gent inside AdSkills was already proof-of-concept on Twitter with a client. She said he was killing it. She wanted the room to see a person inside her company already running the test, not a slide about a test.
She would also teach her short-video formula in the room — under a minute, aimed at sales and leads — plus how to cut longer videos into those clips so the campaigns have fuel. Without video, the test has nothing to spend the dollar on. Cat videos are not the fuel. A one-minute clip of the work you actually do is the fuel.
She already booked the live Q&A
The line that is the relationship: I have also secured already a live Q and A with Dennis Yu himself… we have a totally separate session just with Dennis for everybody in the workshop. She pointed at a prior interview on her profile so people could see that I do answer the questions.
That is why this leaf belongs on my personal site. She did not ask me to write another Dollar a Day explainer. She put my name on a separate session and told her room I would show up.
Where this hangs
Her first-person cut of this same Facebook live is her workshop announcement article. Honor: the Liana Ling honor hub. Photos: her camera-roll photo page. Company testimonial: the Dollar a Day Liana story. Her written method: her Power Up Strategy article.
This leaf exists so my site tells the relationship story: she announced the room, she named the platforms, and she already had me on the calendar. The method pages stay on her site and on the company story URL. I am not republishing Dollar a Day as a second explainer here.
Next step: watch the Facebook live at the top, then read her host cut and the honor hub.
