Summary. Coral Mujaes is a mindset and business coach from Latin America with more than 1 million students across 23 countries and a bestselling book with Penguin Random House. Her first launch on Whop did $1.8 million in seven days across 2,890 sales, using checkout links and embedded checkouts that accept credit cards, Afterpay, OXXO, SPEI and Efecty. If you coach or consult and your buyers live outside the United States, the payment methods are the part to copy.
What Coral Mujaes was doing before Whop
Whop’s write-up does not describe the tools Coral used before Whop, so I will not guess. What it does establish is what she brought with her: an audience of more than 1 million students in 23 countries and a publisher-backed book.
That matters for reading the numbers. A seven-day launch of this size is an audience converting, not a platform creating demand.
What changed on Whop
The launch ran on checkout links and embedded checkouts. A buyer clicks a link or pays inside her page, and the checkout offers the way people in her markets actually pay: credit card, Afterpay, OXXO, SPEI and Efecty. She also uses Whop invoices.
The local methods are the mechanism. OXXO and SPEI are how many buyers in Mexico pay, in cash at a store or by bank transfer, and Efecty is a cash network in Colombia. A checkout that only takes cards turns those buyers away at the last step.
Afterpay is listed among the options, which gives a buyer a split-payment path at checkout. Whop’s write-up does not state terms, approval rates or how many buyers used it.
Whop is building something that is incredibly creator-friendly.

The numbers
$1.8 million in revenue in seven days on her first Whop launch. 2,890 sales in those seven days, which works out to roughly $620 a sale by my arithmetic. More than 1 million students. 23 countries. A bestselling book with Penguin Random House.
What the write-up does not state: the price of the offer, the split by country or payment method, the refund rate, or what she earned on launches before Whop.
What I would tell a coach or consultant to copy
Accept the way your buyers pay. If a third of your audience is in Mexico or Colombia and your checkout only takes Visa, you are losing the sale at the last click. Turn on the local methods before you spend on another launch video.
Measure the launch. Every checkout link gets its own UTM parameters, Google Analytics 4 and Tag Manager sit on the page that hosts the embedded checkout, and the purchase fires as a conversion event. Then you know which email, post or country produced the 2,890 sales, not just the total.
Get proof you can show. One million students is proof; so is a published book. If you are earlier than that, one canonical page per program with named client outcomes, with permission, does the same job at your scale.
Put a Dollar-a-Day boost behind the one post that already sells, aimed at the countries where you already have buyers. Seven days at one dollar a day tells you more than a guess.
Most people think people buy courses, coaching, or information. They don’t. People buy identities.
Coral Mujaes
Maybe. They still need a way to pay.
Who this is not for
Whop is a checkout, financing, affiliate and storefront layer. It does not host your calendar, your client notes or your accounting. The base rate is 2.7% + 30¢, 20 basis points under Stripe’s 2.9% + 30¢, but the optional layers (managed tax 2%, orchestration 0.8%, billing 0.5%) can push the stack above Stripe, and managed tax matters more when you sell into 23 countries. Financing requires $30,000 processed from 10 or more customers in 90 days and a dispute rate under 2%, and it is unavailable to gambling, sports betting, trading signals, credit offers and adult categories. If you coach five clients a month by referral, a checkout link is all you need from this story.
If you were going to use Whop anyway
If you were going to sign up for Whop anyway, sign up through my link, dennisyu.com/go/whop, or send me your business name and email and I will submit the referral. Whop pays me a share of its profit on your account; your rate is the same 2.7% + 30¢ either way. In return my team at Local Service Spotlight sets up the AI agents that audit your public reputation, fix what they find, and keep it maintained: a personal brand analysis, Google Analytics 4, Tag Manager and Search Console with conversion events that actually fire, a Content Factory that turns one recording into a definitive article, clips and posts, and a weekly Metrics, Analysis, Action report. That is the work we normally charge coaching and consulting businesses for.
