Whop Partner · Dennis Yu
If you're going to use Whop anyway, sign up through me. Same price. More help.
Aden Trano, Whop’s Head of Services, said it on a golf course: a business that signs up direct pays exactly what one that signs up through a partner pays, so the only question is what the partner adds. Here is what I add, and what I get.
Not decided yet? The mechanism, the fees and the financing gate for your trade are on our Whop page, and the whole program is in the 38-page guide (PDF).
Why it costs you nothing
Whop pays us out of its own margin, not yours
Whop’s pricing is the same whether you sign up direct or through a partner: 2.7% + 30¢ per card transaction, no monthly fee, the same optional layers at the same prices. When a business signs up through a partner’s link, Whop pays that partner a share of Whop’s own gross profit on the account, for as long as the account stays. That share is the budget for everything on this page. You are not charged for it, and you cannot get a lower rate by going direct.
This page is for anyone about to create a Whop business: a service company adding financing at the estimate, a coach or creator selling a membership, an agency billing retainers, a software team embedding checkout. The industry pages under dennisyu.com/whop cover the mechanism for each; this page covers which door.

Setup and migration help
We have moved checkouts, subscriptions and invoices onto Whop for ourselves and for clients. Send us your questions before you send them to Whop’s chat; the answer is usually a screenshot of ours.
Your story, told
When your first payments run, we write it up in the same story library Whop’s own case studies live in, with a link to your business. Proof that compounds.
When your first payment runs we invite you into a private group on Whop with the other businesses that came in through us, so the checkout copy, financing settings and dispute handling that work for one get copied to the next. It is free, and it is the closest thing to a users’ group for businesses like yours that exists right now.
The bonus applies to new Whop businesses created through the link that process real payments. If you already have a Whop account, email us the business name first so we can submit the referral by hand before you create the business.
Bigger together
Why we want you in the same room, not just on the same link
One business on Whop is a customer. Fifty businesses that came in through the same door are a group Whop’s team pays attention to: our questions get answered with data, our stories get published, and the settings that work for one plumber’s financing checkout get copied to the next one in a day instead of rediscovered. That is the whole reason to route through a partner rather than sign up alone, and it is why we put the work in for free.
If you run an agency, a franchise, an association or any platform with businesses on it, the better door is the partner program itself: become a Whop Partner under us and your referrals pay you directly.
How it works
Three steps
- Create your Whop business through the link. whop.com/start/?a=thedennisyu. Your pricing is unchanged; the referral is recorded at signup.
- Take your first payment. An invoice, a checkout link in a text, or Tap to Pay on iPhone.
- Email dennis@dennisyu.com with the subject “I signed up for Whop through Dennis” and your Whop business URL. We confirm the referral on our side and schedule the bonus within one week.
Honest limits
When going direct is fine
If you never want to talk to anyone about your setup, going direct loses you nothing; the price is the same and Whop’s support is the same. If you already have a Whop business, the link cannot re-attribute it, so the bonus does not apply. If you were referred by someone else who is doing real work for you, honor that; we would rather you keep a partner who shows up.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
Is the price really identical? Yes. 2.7% + 30¢ per domestic card transaction, no monthly fee, the same optional layers at the same prices, whether you sign up direct or through any partner link. Whop pays partners from its own margin.
What does Whop pay you when I sign up through you? Up to 30% of Whop’s gross profit on the account, for as long as the account stays on Whop, plus 1% of anything you spend on Whop Ads. On plain card processing for a $1 million business that is roughly $1,800 a year; the bonus we deliver is worth more than that in year one, which is the point.
I already have a Whop account. Can I still sign up through you? Email us the business name before you create the new business and we submit the referral from our dashboard, which locks attribution to the invite Whop sends you. An existing business cannot be re-attributed.
What if I sign up through you and never use the bonus? Nothing changes for you. Whop still pays the partner share; we still hold the offer open. The bonus is for businesses that process real payments, not a signup prize.
Why would Whop's own Head of Services tell people to sign up through you? Because it costs Whop nothing extra to route a business through a partner who then supports it, and supported businesses process more. That is the economics of every partner program; Whop just launched one that pays on profit for as long as the business processes.
