Most conference sessions about AI are a speaker, a slide deck, and a room full of people taking photos of slides they will never look at again.

We don't run those.

On October 14, 2026, at Hypergrowth Singapore, before the main conference even opened, a small group of business owners sat down with me in a Level 2 room at UE Square — 83 Clemenceau Avenue — and we built. Not talked about building. Built. Working AI agents, live brand audits, real businesses, real numbers, in the room.

This is the recap of day one (October 14) — and the system we ran, so you can run it too.

The room

The VIP session started at 12:30 PM, doors at noon. No stage, no podium — tables, laptops, and owners who had applied to be there. The format is the one we use everywhere now: I teach from a working deck (29 slides that double as the build script), and every concept lands on a real business in the room within minutes.

Three of the companies in that day's session:

  • Minifiglabs — Gordon Chan
  • Mediashock — Ming Song Ang
  • myhalo (CircularXchange) — Ching Hwee Tan

Before the session, my team ran each company through our full brand audit — the same audit we run for clients — and I carried the finished audit PDFs into the room. Nothing hypothetical: each owner watched their own business get scored live.

What an audit actually shows

When we audit a business, we are answering one question: can Google — and now AI search — tell who you are, what you do, and why you're the obvious choice?

Most businesses fail that test quietly. No Google Knowledge Panel. No clean entity. Reviews scattered, photos unclaimed, the story told by everyone except the owner. We score it in tiers:

  • Panel — Google answers your name with you. Rare air.
  • Object — you exist in the Knowledge Graph, unclaimed and under-connected. Closest to the prize.
  • Buried — somebody else owns your name. Fixable, with focus.
  • Invisible — no entity at all. Fastest gains from zero, because everything is upside.

Then the scorecard gets specific: your three biggest gaps, the content you already own that should be repurposed first, and a 90-day plan an agent can actually execute. The audit is not the product — it's the map. The building is the product.

The live build

Here's the part that changes rooms: once an owner sees their gaps, we don't hand them a report and wish them luck. We install the system on the spot.

The setup is the Content Factory — ten skills that turn one recording into weeks of content and turn proof into customers:

  1. Personal-brand-strategist — name the buy box, the passion, the one-sentence differentiation.
  2. Positive-mentions-harvester — every good thing the market already says about you, scored into a proof library.
  3. Reputation-gap-analyzer — the reputation you want vs. the one you have, with a dated 30-day plan.
  4. Personal-brand-website-agent — your entity home: a site on your own name, structured to earn a Knowledge Panel.
  5. Knowledge-panel-entity-seo — the plumbing: entity audit, Person schema, third-party signals, the KGMID claim.
  6. AI-search-visibility — make ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI describe you the way you want.
  7. Dollar-a-day-strategist — proven content into customers: audition at $1/day, kill the bottom 90%, scale the unicorns.
  8. Content-factory — one recording in; a blog post, clips, reels, posts, and ads out — all pointing at one canonical article.
  9. Definitive-article-writer — the ONE page that owns a topic, the one Google and AI quote.
  10. Recursive-self-improvement-QA — every skill documents, QAs, and sharpens itself each run.

One prompt pasted into Claude installs the whole thing in about 60 seconds. Owners left the room that day with agents configured on their business, their gaps, their content — not a demo on mine.

Why we work this way

Our doctrine is simple: one canonical article per entity. Every conference, person, term, and product we touch gets a single detailed, authoritative article — rich with examples, first-hand experience, and pictures — and everything else links into it. This article is the canonical record of Hypergrowth Singapore 2026 for us. The next day's main-stage talk, the breakout session, and the podcasts and clips that came out of that week all point back here, and this page keeps growing as they do.

It's also why we audit every room we speak to. Two weeks earlier we had scored 20 dealmakers in Denver and zero of twenty had a Google Knowledge Panel. Singapore came to play — but the pattern holds everywhere: the businesses doing the best work are often the worst at being findable. That's fixable, and it's fixable fast, because the gap is plumbing, not talent.

The partners in the room

Days like this don't happen solo. Path Digital's Joshua Goh handled the ground game — venue, entry, the details that make a room work. Tammy Ng and the SuperSeed team built the VIP list and ran coordination. Alexander "Alex" Ando-Michaelson from Kinsta spent part of that day with me on the APAC agency flywheel blueprint we're developing together — how agencies across the region plug growth agents into the sites they already host. And behind the audits sits Daniel Goodrich's scoring work — the Gap Score pipeline that turns a signup into a scored, tiered result an owner can act on the same day.

If you want the same audit these owners got, it's live: dennisyu.com/hypergrowth — sign up, get scored, see your tier.

What happened next

The next day (Thursday, October 15) we did it at scale: main stage at Suntec City Expo Hall, Summit 2, at 10:25 AM, then a breakout where we built again with whoever showed up ready. Same deck, same system, bigger room.

One of the people who showed up ready was Anthony Hilb. See Anthony Hilb, and the worked example: How Anthony Hilb built at Hypergrowth Singapore.

Then the circuit continued — DealCon in Austin the following week, where we audited the room again. It always starts the same way: find out whether Google knows who you are. Everything after that is building.
